What an incredible company! We did our research and talked to a number of other companies in the area, but no one came in with as much knowledge, fair pricing, high-quality equipment, and fast timelines as Sunshine Solar. We did panels + battery at our Jacksonville home, and they made sure we really understood how our solar system would work, and didn't try to pressure us into upgrades or buying more than we needed at all. Like others have said, we got contracts from other companies and there were some very real bad-faith provisions included -- payment upfront before the system was installed, and no guarantee that it would be completed prior to the end of year (6+ months away at that point). And, they wanted to charge us more! Sunshine Solar ended up finishing our project around ~1 month ahead of their original estimate (thanks in part to faster permitting), and were consistently communicative and kept us in the loop throughout it all. They really went above and beyond through every step of the process, and we couldn't be happier. Highly, highly recommend!

Nicole was very helpful and direct in guiding us on what steps to take to bring our electricity bill down significantly. I honestly wish we had made the switch sooner. It was absolutely worth giving her the chance to show us the options available, and we couldn’t recommend her enough.

Just got my 30 solar panels installed......after thinking about it for 5 years! My only regret is I should have done it sooner. But better late than never. I met with 4 different solar companies before deciding to work with Sunshine Solar. It's been a great experience all around from working with the founders Keith and Scott, the electrician Paul, the installer Taylor, Lindsay the operations manager, and the marketing manager Brandon. I have some advice for anyone making the decision to add solar to their home......choose LOCAL! There is one other local company I met with but Sunshine Solar stood out as the best choice to work with. Don't make the mistake I made (but corrected). It's pretty easy to sign a contract with a company that sends salemen around to get you signed up but these salemen don't have actual experience installing solar projects. Large companies based out of state will absolutely not give you the service you'll receive from Sunshine Solar. If you don't believe me talk to folks who have worked with these other companies and you'll hear the horror stories. Anyway, I actually signed a contract with one of these other companies and then couldn't sleep that night when I did more research. Fortunately I was able to cancel the contract the very next day. That's when I called Keith and signed a contract with Sunshine Solar.

Great company to deal with. No high pressure sales, just good products and services. Everything delivered on time and on budget. Their after sale support is also good. They performed trouble shooting when one of our solArk units needed a software update. Especially pleased with the clean and organized install. Highly recommend this company.

We recently purchased a system through Sunshine solar. We had gotten quotes from three other solar companies. We were happy there was no hard pressure sales pitch just education and facts and good answers to the questions we asked. Out of the three companies we talked to Sunshine solar was the only company that offered a battery backup system which was exactly what we were looking for. Such a great company to work with. Our sales rep Keith, was very kind and friendly and really knows what he is selling. Calls to the office are always answered promptly and by really nice people, India is such a joy to talk with. After signing up, the entire system was installed and turned on within 3 months (Keith said it would be about 3 months, so I was expecting it). It took the city of GP so long to approve, but everything else was great. The after install walkthrough is very helpful and getting set up with the monitoring app is really coooool. I highly recommend talking with Sunshine Solar if you are considering installing a system. The service and price is excellent and I look forward to many years working with them if needed.

We started with an orientation, then we purchased and all went well with the purchase. Sunshine Solar evaluated our annual usage and recommended an appropriate number of panels to correspond with usage. We have been impressed ever since we sat down with their rep to discuss the whole process of getting solar panels. The rep was thorough, respectful and knowledgeable about not only his system but others as well. The loan approval process was instantaneous and easy to procure. The rep was the only one (out of the 3 different solar companies we bid with) that brought up Oregon's unique solar rebate, which we qualified for. The only delay we had was going through our City's approval process (old historic town). Once we were blessed by all concerned, the crew came and installed the panels in one day. Everything was cleaned up and done, the crew were respectful and had good taste in music! The power company took about a week to come out to get the meter installed but once they did, we were up and running. Sunshine Solar came down to down the final inspection and programing within a couple of days and also got us set up on our computer to monitor everything. The only negative is one of the installers missed the support on the wall while attaching the new utility box. My husband noticed it pulling away from the wall. We called the company and they sent someone to fix it the very next day. The fact that the company is local to our area was a BIG selling point. We know of others that had gone with other solar companies that are on a 2-3 month waiting list for repairs! This has been a very good choice for us and can't recommend them enough. Sunshine Solar is tops as far as we are concerned.

Sunshine solar went above and beyond to help us. The Oregon Rebate was very complicated, but they showed us where to go to fill out the application. They made sure that we understood the Federal tax rebate. They gave us a time table and completed it on time. Our router couldn't communicate with the system so they went out of their way to make it work.
